Pelvic Plates

Collaborator: Lev Goldenberg, Kalman Shvartsman, Issac  Meller MD

The purpose of this implant is to replace parts of the pelvic that are removed in surgery. Given the patient anatomy, a deformable thin plate is used by the surgeon as a template to define the appropriate shape of the plate during surgery. The implant is plastically deformed to match the modified geometry of the template prior to fixing it to the bone.
